Robert E. Slatus graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1973, and was admitted to the New York State Bar the same year. From 1973 to 1977, he worked as an associate for the immigration firm of Blecher and Mendel. In 1977, Mr. Slatus opened up his own practice, which he has maintained ever since. Mr. Slatus has appeared and argued before the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. His 45 years of practice in immigration law makes him one of the most experienced attorneys in this field.
